As I said on the pervious page there is someone who can help you when you feel that you have no other place to turn. Let me tell you I'm speaking from experience. My life was going now where and if you read stop the cycle it is a small story of my life. Everyone that I came into contact with I would either hurt, use or just plain manipulated them. I only cared about myself and my life showed.
I have had so many jobs and they never lasted because
I didn't like being told what to do. My many relationships
never lasted very long either
because to tell you the truth
I never realized what Love was. It wasn't until I almost
lost my wife Diane and our 3 children because of the jerk
that I've
become that it dawned on me that I needed to
change.
Since that day when I decided to follow God my life has made a complete turn around. My neighbors can't believe the difference in my attitude and neither can my family. God has blessed me so much and now my children and my wife have come to have a relationship with God.
There is a peace in our lives that we have never experienced before and it is kind of exciting and crazy all at the same time. God has made it possible for myself and family to be able to work some great Christian concerts and meet the artists. Yes we still have problems but things are different now because now we have God's love and mercy to fall back on and it does make a difference in our lives.
Friends you have probably heard this all before
but let me tell you again because I firmly believe with
all my heart that God can make a difference
in your life
too. God is here and He wants you to know how much He loves
you and He wants you to have a happy and wonderful life.
He is calling you
just like we call our children when we
want them next to us. As I say in our Bible Studies "I
challenge you to give God a chance and follow Him and you
will see how much better your life can be." I believe
this with all my heart and soul.
The first thing that needs to be done is to admit that you are a sinner. A sinner is someone who is separated from God. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." because of this sin we cannot have a relationship with God.
In Romans
6:23: "For the wages of sin is
death; but gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
Christ
our Lord."
God gave us a wonderful gift
In John
3:16: "For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life."
God loves us so much that
he sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for
our sins
so that we could be saved and spend all of eternity with
Him.
If that isn't Love I don’t know what is. God
doesn't
want any of us to go to hell that is why Jesus died in
our
place.
In the movie The
Passion of the Christ you can see what Jesus did
for all of us and how much Love He had for us
to go through
so much pain and suffering.
Look at the world around you
and it is hard not to see that things are going down
the drain pretty quick. Its hard not to watch the news
or read the
paper and not find any violence in the world.
Some of the crimes that are being done are so unthinkable.
This world is unsafe. I know some friends
of mine
that tell me that they believe in God but right now they
are having too much fun doing what they want to do. Do
you have enough time to get it
out of your system? Do
you know for sure if you or a loved one will be here
tomorrow or the next day? If you where to die right now
do you know
where you will spend all of eternity?
Well if you aren't sure let me tell you that God has a place for you in Heaven. He wants all of His children to spend all of eternity with Him. This is only a choice that you can make. God doesn't force anyone to do something that they don't want to do.
If you are sick and tired
of feeling that your life has no meaning.You want
to get your life right with God. You are at the bottom
of your rope and there
seems that there is no hope in
sight let me tell you that God can change all of that
.If you would like to know with out a shadow of
a doubt that you are
going
to
Heaven
just as God promised:
1) Admit that you are a sinner
2) Ask for forgiveness for your sins
3) Ask Jesus to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior.
A sample prayer you can pray from your heart could be something like this:
Dear Lord...I know that I have sinned and I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
Lord Jesus I ask that you please come into my life as my Lord and Savior and help me not to sin any more.
For I ask it in Jesus's precious name….Amen!!
